Mentioned are:

Christian Friedr. Lohmeyer and his wife Marie Dorothee geb. Wehe with their four children who relocated to Posen in 1897.  His sons August (geb. 19.6.1892 in Varl) and Otto (geb. 8.7.1902 in Posen) are also noted.

August Lohmeyer who was a butcher and was stranded in Japan at the outbreak of WW1.  He went on to marry there and founded a successful meat and delicatessen factory.  His children are still resident there.
